Dorothy Ansley

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Ansley, 80 died at St. Dominics Hospital on August 18, 2010. Visitation will be Friday, August 20, 2010 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence from 5-8 p.m. Services will be Saturday at 10:30 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery.\ \ She was a lady that loved her family and everyone she came in contact with. She was known as having a heart of gold. Her pastimes were gardening and crocheting. \ \ She was preceded in death by her husband, Lennis D. Ansley, Sr.; two sons: Lennis D. Ansley, Jr. and Charles E. Ansley; and three brothers: Johnny Cahoon, robert e. Cahoon and William P. Hatch; sister, Frances M. Decker.\ \ She leaves behind her daughter, Brenda (Billy) Boone of Oxford; son, Freddie (Jenny) Ansley of Pearl; sister, Bobbie Nell Edwards of Philadelphia; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.\
