Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Blair

Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Blair, 83, of Brandon, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Brandon. Graveside services will be held 10am Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Pearl. Rev. Otis Moore will officiate. Born in Mendenhall to H.D. and Annie Russell Heitt, Mrs. Blair spent her adult life in Florence. She was a member of Briar Hill Baptist Church, had worked at the G.E. plant and was a cashier most of her life. Mrs. Blair loved to dance and we know she is dancing up a storm in Heaven. She is preceded in death by her parents, H.D. and Annie Russell Hiett, her son, Anthony Todd Blair, her siblings, Dick (Pearl) Hiett, Dewey (Claudia) Hiett and Jean (Dot) Curtis. She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Junior) Johnson of Florence, Randy (Mary) Blair of Florence, Wandra (Terry) Evans of Pearl, Tommy (Grecian) Blair of Pinola; 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
