Dorothy “Dot” Craft Randall of Richland passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Willow Creek in Byram. She was 85 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, August 9th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. She will be laid to rest following a Graveside Service at Richland City Cemetery.
Dot was born December 19, 1936, in Sullivans Hollow, near Mize, MS to the late Virgil Henry Craft and Nina Lucille Craft, who were sharecroppers. Mrs. Randall loved all her family, including her children, siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dot loved Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. She believed in the great commission and as a disciple of Christ would want nothing more for her family than for them to know Jesus Christ, so they all can be together again.
Dot loved her job working at the boot store, spending time with her customers and friends for 25 plus years.
Along with her parents, she is also proceeded in death by her husband, James Hugh Randall; her stepmother, Lillian Walker, who raised from the time of her mother’s death when she was 10 months old; her brothers, Rudolph Craft and James Floyd Craft; her sisters, Bernice Blakeney, Eunice Bratcher, and Inez Fortenberry; her daughter, Jennifer Todd; her son; Randy Randall and her grandson, Benjamin Randall.
She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Tucker (Dewayne), of Richland; grandchildren, Tal Tucker of Richland, Ty Tucker of Richland, Destiny Todd of Kansas City, MO, Dallas Todd of Kansas City, MO, Becca Amos (Kim) of Citrus Springs, FL, Stuart Randall of Cleveland., TX, Scott Randall of Cleveland, TX, and 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
