Dorothy Kelly

\ Dorothy M. Kelly, 84, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Tuesday, July 12 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Wednesday, July 13 from 1:00 until the 2:00 service. Burial will follow the service at Palestine Cemetery in Harrisville. \ \ Mrs. Kelly was a Homemaker who loved seeing her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and canning fruits and vegetables. \ \ She is preceded in death by her husband William E. Kelly. She is survived by her sons, Douglas Kelly (Cynthia) and Charles Kelly both of Harrisville; her daughter, Lindy Welch (James) of Baton Rouge, LA; her sisters, Ida Boyd (Jerry) of Harrisville, Betty Morris (Huey) of Brentwood, TN, and Myrle Foshee of Byram; six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.\ \
