Dorothy Morgan, 81, of Star, passed away Sunday, February 06, 2011 at Central MS Medical Center. \ \ Dorothy was a member of Star Baptist Church. During her working years, she was a cashier at Rankin Medical Center and a greeter at Walmart. \ \ She is survived by her son, John Morgan of Star; daughter, Diane Scoggins (Bill) of Florence; grandchildren, Jimmy Raney (Beth), Cindi Tullos (Bryan)and David Wesley Hammerstrom (Lisa); and great grandchildren, Avery Grace, Greyson, Walker, Raney, Madyn and John David. \ \ A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Star Baptist Church Cemetery on Star Road.\ \ In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 4830 McWillie Circle, Jackson, MS 39206-5024, (601) 321-1200.\
