Dorothy May Walker was called home on November 4, 2009 at the age of 91. Dorothy was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and grew up with her brother Bob (deceased) and her brother Iver, who lives in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. Shortly after the end of WWII, Dorothy Iverson was married to Hubert George Walker, a petroleum engineer. A daughter was born five years later, followed by twins. The family enjoyed an exciting life for many years while living overseas in Iran and Libya. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy. She was a smart, funny, sweet woman and her stories of living through the Depression and World War II will be sorely missed by everyone in her family. The family wishes to thank her special friends, Keisha and Zoe, for the love and comfort they provided at the end of her long life. Her children Jo Anne, Jean, and John; her grandchildren David, Jessie, Jeremy, Jordan, Alison and Alex; and her great-grandchildren Isabella, Dominik, and Aiden wish her a joyous reunion with Ella, her loving mother and Hubert, her wonderful husband.
