Dorothy Langford Wright

Dorothy Langford Wright, 88, of Jackson entered the gates of Heaven peacefully on Sunday, March 24th.  Dorothy was known as “Dot” to family and friends, was born in Chickasaw County, MS on October 11, 1935, to James Evans Langford and Myrlee Langford.  She was one of five sisters.  She was a member of Parkhill Baptist Church for 58 years. 

Dot was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Betty Kelly, and Sara Atkins.
 
 She is survived by her two sons, Dean (Terry) Wright of Raymond and James (Angi) Wright of Terry, and a daughter, Donna Wright Trebotich of Vancleave.  She leaves behind her remaining two sisters, Sue Byars of Houston, MS and Diane Shaw of Mathiston, MS, as well as six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

 A Memorial service will be held for the family at a later date.
