Dorothy B. "Dot" Anderson, 82, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Peach Tree Assisted Living in Brandon. Visitation will be 11am until the 1pm funeral service Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park.\ \ A native of Sunflower County, she had lived in Brandon for the past 6 years having spent most of her life in South Jackson. Mrs. Anderson was a Dietary Supervisor for Mississippi Baptist Medical Center until her retirement.\ \ She is preceded in death by her husband George W. Anderson, Sr. \ \ Survivors include her children Jimmy Anderson (Melinda) of Ridgeland, Maggie Taylor (Roger) of Raymond and George W. Anderson, Jr. of Jackson.; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.\ \
