Mrs. Dorsie Loflin Bell

Mrs. Dorsie Loflin Bell, 101, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Villa South in Florence where she lived. A graveside service will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Florence. Mrs. Bell was a lifelong resident of Rankin County where she attended Rexford United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and farming. She is preceded in death by her parents, W.E. and Annie Loflin; brothers, W.E. Loflin, Jr., James “Jim” Loflin, and John Loflin; and her husband, Watkins Bell. She is survived by 5 nieces and 2 nephews. The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Villa South and St. Joseph Hospice for their kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Rexford United Methodist Church.
