Douglas Wade, 68, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at his home in Florence. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 10th from 5-8 and Thursday, October 11th from 1pm until the 2 pm funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories. \ Mr. Wade was a resident of Florence for the past 32 years, coming from Jackson.He was a very hard working man that loved his family including his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his adopted son, Louis. He was not an ordinary person. He was loved by all as he loved all. He was an avid hunter. No project was too small or too big. He could always "Uncle Wayne" anything he could not figure out. He was always going, never stopping. Although he was not a classically trained singer, he thought he was. His joke telling will be missed; although it is not known if he ever actually fully finished telling a joke. \ Mr. Wade is survived by his wife, Dianne Wade of Florence; son, John Wade and his wife Tammy of Florence; daughters, Tracey Langston and her husband Keith of St. Amant, LA and Amy Klemer and her husband Tycen of Granbury, TX; grandchildren, Blake and Lauren Wade, Janae Chatfield, Isaac Sapp and Robert Klemer; great grandchildren, Ryder and Nolan Chatfield; brothers, Leroy Wade of MS and Michael Wade of Marietta, GA; sister, Jean Lee of Saraland, AL.\
