Dr. Henry McCrory

Dr. Henry McCrory,68, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 27, 2009 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and 1-2pm Sunday, August 30, 2009 at County Woods Baptist Church. Funeral Service will begin at 2pm Sunday. Interment will follow at Montrose Cemetery at 4:30pm\ \ Dr. McCrory graduated from Bay Springs High School and then entered the U.S. Air Force. After graduation from the University of MS School of Pharmacy and University of MS School of Medicine, he did his residency in OB/GYN and had a private practice at the Woman's Clinic in Clarksdale until his retirement in 2000. Dr. McCrory was a fellow of the College of OB/GYN and member of the American Medical Association. He was a Deacon and member at Country Woods Baptist Church.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Dot McCrory; siblings, Bennie and Linda McCrory.\ \ Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Sue McCrory of Terry; sons, Dr. Glenn McCrory and wife Michelle of Madison, Gene McCrory and wife Lisa of Terry and Gary McCrory and wife Stephanie of Clinton; brothers, Floyd and Ronnie McCrory of Bay Springs; sisters, Nila Hendry of Decatur, AL and Sue James of Bay Springs; grandchildren, Maggie, Matthew, Madison, Mason, Michael, Morgan, Shelby, Eli, Eva Grace and Will. \ \ Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
