Glennis Dwayne Alford, 45, surrounded by his family, went home to be with his Lord Thursday, April 21, 2011. Visitation is today at 10:00 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, followed by an 11:00 service.\ \ Dwayne received the Holy Ghost February 3, 2008. He was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Nashville, TN. Dwayne worked as a plumber. He was an avid fisherman, NASCAR fan and an all around sports fan. \ \ Dwayne is survived by his wife of 16 years, Teresa Tanksley Alford; son, Chas Ball (Jana); stepson, Steve Ball; parents George and Judy Alford; sisters, Theresa Hutchinson, Lisa Pitts, Kathy (Link) Holcomb, Connie Attia; brothers George (Bubba) Alford, Jr., Stevie Alford, Sparticus Alford, D'Artagman (Jessie) Alford; grandchildren, Lexi, Maison and Brooklyn Ball; a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.\ \ In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Trust Fund of Dwayne Alford at any Bancorp South Bank.\
