Dwight "Mac" McPherson\ Terry\ \ Dwight Newman "Mac" McPherson, 87, died Sunday May 8, 2011. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday and 10-11am Thursday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be at 11am at the funeral home chapel with burial at Lakewood Memorial Park. \ Mr. McPherson was an active Shriner and an avid Ole Miss fan. He loved to play golf and enjoyed his animals. He looked forward each day to reading his morning paper.\ He was preceded in death by his wife Patti Jo Griffin McPherson and his son Maury McPherson. \ Survivors include grandchildren Melissa Bynum and Maury McPherson both of Florence and Dwight McPherson of Terry; Nine great-grandchildren; Brother, Charles McPherson; Daughter-in-law Janet McPherson of Florence. \ \
