Earl Barlow Watkins

Mr. Earl Barlow Watkins, 84, passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday from 1 -3 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence followed by a Graveside service at 3:30pm at Harrisville Cemetery.\ \ Mr. Watkins was raised in Harrisville and has spent the last 50 years in Florence. He was in the Merchant Marines. He worked for 28 years with Marquette Cement Company and retired as a self employed Electrician. He was an avid Fisherman and enjoyed getting together with his family and friends. \ \ He is preceded in death by his Wife, Agnes Dear Watkins; his son, Randy Watkins; and four sisters.\ \ Mr. Watkins is survived by his Sons, Ricky Watkins of Tupelo and Larry Watkins of Florence; his Daughters, Suzanne Holloway of Florence and Shuna Lee of Florence; 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.\
