Earnest Dwayne Copeland, 45, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon. Visitation will be Thursday, February 27th from 4-8 PM and will be Friday, February 28th from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 PM at North Bend Pentecostal Church. Mr. Copeland was a lifelong resident of Rankin County. He was a nurse at Crossgates River Oaks where he was a dedicated servant to his patients and was a member of Gospel Chapel Church in Pearl. He was a good person that helped everyone, a wonderful husband and he loved his dog, “Petals”. Mr. Copeland is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Betty Copeland and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Copeland of Pearl; brothers, Jim Copeland, Jr. of Pearl and Johnny Ray Copeland of Hazlehurst; sisters, Norma Jean Copeland of Brookhaven and Rita (Greg) Craddock of Sevierville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
