Eddie Leon Pierce,76 , died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at MBMC in Jackson.\ Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, December 23, 2010 and 10-11am Friday December 24, 2010, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral Service will begin at 11am Friday followed by interment at Lakewood South.\ \ Mr. Pierce was a native of Mobile, AL, born August 3, 1934 to Otis and Eloise Pierce. He had lived in south Jackson since 1963, working as a salesman for Southern Beverage, later retiring as Warehouse Manager. Mr. Pierce was a fine Christian man who loved his family dearly, and was always an active working man.\ \ Survivors include his wife of 58 years Annice Pierce of Jackson; sons Lynn (Beverly) Pierce of Raymond, Duane (Bonnie) Pierce of Port Gibson and Tim Pierce of Jackson; daughter Michele (Gary) Donaldson of Byram; brother Melvin Pierce of Mobile, Al; sisters Melba Furby and Janice Purvis both of Mobile, AL; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.\
