Eddie Paul Beck

Eddie Beck celebrated his home going to be with his Lord on June 5, 2010, at his home with family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at 11am Monday June 7, 2010, at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5-8pm Sunday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and 10-11am Monday at the church. \ Eddie was born on July 21, 1939, in Carrolton, MS. His parents were Mary Virginia and Paul Vernon Beck. He was a graduate of Clarksdale High School and Mississippi College. He was a CPA and worked for the MS State Tax Commission for 40 years. Upon his retirement, he became a tax consultant until his illness. \ He was a long-time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, teaching a men's Sunday School Class and serving as a deacon and elder. He loved his Lord and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.\ He is survived by his wife Doris. Daughters Dana (Stan) Beasley and Jana (Scott) Stringer. Grandchildren, Melissa and Andrew Beasley, Piper (Kevin) Luper, Madeleine and Collin Stringer. Sister, Jessie (Jimmy) Helms. Two nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and his precious daughter Dawn. \ Family requests donations be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church or Baptist Childrens Village. \
