Mrs. Edith W. Hilderbrand

Edith W. Hilderbrand, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 07, 2022 at her home in Byram, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Country Woods Baptist Church in Byram, MS from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS. Edith was born in Drew, MS on September 26, 1930 to John Winter, Sr. and Lula Ingram Winter. She was a member of Country Woods Baptist Church and a longtime member of Leavell Woods Order of the Eastern Star, presently the Clinton Order of the Eastern Star. Edith retired from Deposit Guaranty Bank. She was preceded in death by grandson, Sam Roberts, Jr. and brothers, Travis Winter, Jr. George Winter, and Danny Winter. Edith is survived by her husband of 71 years, Thomas Hilderbrand; daughters, Elaine (Steve) Roberts of Olive Branch and Annette Pitts of Youngville, NC; sisters, Fay Craig of Florence and Janie Wilson of Richland; grandchildren, Carolyn (John) Losoya, and Janna Pitts; and four great-grandchildren.
