Mrs. Edna Sellers Blaine

Edna Earl Sellers Blaine, 82, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM on Friday, February 19th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and Saturday, February 20th from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service at First Baptist Church of Richland. Burial will follow at Richland City Cemetery. Mrs. Blaine was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland where she was a member of the JOY Sunday School Class and the Co-Owner and operator of Blaine’s Trailer Rental and Sales in Richland. She was very active at the Rankin County Homemaker’s Club and was former Woman of the Year. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Blaine was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Blaine, Sr.; parents, Emory and Ruby Sellers; and siblings, Lois Veazey and Roy E. Sellers. She is survived by her son, David M. (Kathy) Blaine, Jr. of PA; daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Blaine of Richland; sister, Mamie (Gordon) Worthall of Louisville; grandchild, Holly B. (Darrin) Lloyd; four great grandchildren, Blaine, Dylon, Jeptha, and Natalie, and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Richland Building Fund.
