Mr. Edward "Ed" Thomas Haggerty

Edward Thomas Haggerty “Ed”, 87, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18th from 5-7 p.m. and Wednesday, August 19th from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Haggerty was always helping others; he would do without if he knew it would help someone. He had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed supporting his son in baseball and watching his granddaughters play soccer. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. Mr. Haggerty was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Haggerty; stepdaughter, Sherry Griffin; and sister, Mary Ann Haggerty of New Haven, CT. He is survived by his sons, Kevin (Cindi Owen) Haggerty of Orlando, FL and Scott (Kim) Haggerty of Foley, AL; sisters, Jane and Louis of CT; grandchildren, Samantha McCarty and Melodi Haggerty.
