Mrs. Eleanor Jean Martin

Eleanor Jean Martin, 78, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. The funeral service will be Friday, April 16th at 11:00 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, April 15th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and again, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memory Garden following the service. Mrs. Martin was born August 29, 1942 in Coudersport, PA to the late Frank and Gertrude Blow. She had a servant’s heart and worked in the service industry as a waitress for most of her life. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Richland as well as the Richland Exchange Club where she was Exchangite of the year several times. She thoroughly enjoyed her Sunday School class and also enjoyed crocheting. Along with her parents, Mrs. Martin is also preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Martin, Sr. and her brothers, Robert Blow and Phillip Blow. She is survived by her sons, Robert H. Martin, Jr “Robbie” (Ginger) and James E. Martin “Jamie”; her sister, Marilyn Williams (Louis) of Jacksonville, FL; and grandchildren, Gabe Martin and Will Martin. Online guestbook may be signed at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.
