Ella Yarbrough

Ella Lee Hollis Yarbrough walked into glory and into the arms of Jesus at 11:10 pm on August 25, 2024, at her home in Florence MS. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be missed by all. She was a member of Hickory Ridge Baptist Church where she loved and rocked many of the children that came through the nursery. She was a great cook and loved to bake her friendship cakes for all her friends and family. She crocheted many baby blankets and booties for her family and friends at church. She was well known for her crafts and would spread her love through these things.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harold L. Yarbrough Sr., parents Leroy and Helen Hollis, brother Leon Hollis, sister Helen Fay Prince and brother-in-law Charles Prince.

Ella is survived by her stepdaughter Gail Hopkins (Benny) of Pearl, MS, sons - Tim Yarbrough of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Doug Yarbrough of Florence, MS, Harold Yarbrough Jr. (Rhonda) of Florence, MS and daughters Denise Cherry (Bryan) of Madison, MS and Theresa Christine Yarbrough of Florence, MS, 11 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren, brother Carlton Hollis Sr. (Cheryl) of Teoc, MS and sister Diana Kay Ricks (Ken) of Blackhawk, MS, as well as many nieces and nephews.
