Elton Oswalt

Horace Elton Oswalt, 85, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at CMMC in Jackson. Visitation will be 2-5pm Sunday, December 16th and 9-11am Monday, December 17th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will begin at 11am Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Mr. Oswalt was born in Choctaw County, MS to the late Lester and Cora Reed Oswalt. Having lived in Byram for the last 27 years, Mr. Oswalt worked for Sears as a service technician for 28 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Byram.\ \ He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Nedra Oswalt. Survivors include his sons Elton Ray Oswalt (Donna) of Coldsprings, TX and Randy Oswalt (Joann) of Byram; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
