Erin Ann Smith

Erin Ann Smith (75) passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023.  She was born July 9, 1948 to Harvey Lee Berry and Mabel Erin Castleberry Berry.

Everyone knew her as Ann.  Ann never met a stranger. She loved to meet and get to know people.  Ann retired from bookkeeping after many years working for Laird Sand and Gravel Company in Crystal Springs.  She loved to play the piano, as she taught herself how to play when she was 8 years old. Ann loved to cook and enjoyed watching you eat. She loved to plant flowers and always made sure to keep a beautiful yard.  Ann loved going to car shows and cruise ins with her son, Mitch and his family.  She has always been a fan of fast vehicles and 18 wheelers.  Ann always enjoyed going to the beauty salon with her cousin, Linda Berry Clark and going to the country club to visit with her friends over lunch.  She loved life and loved her family.  Ann will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Smith, who was the love of her life; as well as her parents, Harvey Lee and Mabel Berry; brother, Aden Berry and great grandson, Nicolas Ray Munoz.

Ann is survived by her son Mitchell McDonnell (Trish), daughter, Lauree Trejo (Francisco), four granddaughters, Allie Munoz (Alejandro), Kristina Trejo, Lexy McDonnell and Alyssa McDonnell, three great grandsons, Noah Trejo, Aden Barron and Dylan Munoz and one great granddaughter, Leah Trejo.

Visitation for all family and friends will be Friday, July 28th, 5:00 to 8:00 pm and July 29th, Saturday morning from 9:00 am until the hour of service at 10:00am with burial following the service at Hopewell Cemetery in Crystal Springs, MS.
