Emma Lou "MiMi" Chapman, 86, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be 2-5pm Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 10am Monday, May 30 in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Palestine Cemetery in Raymond.\ \ Mrs. Chapman was born April 23, 1925 in Hattiesburg and moved to the Jackson area in 1965 and to Terry in 1993. She served as manager of the Senior Citizens Center for the city of Jackson and was a member of Wynndale Baptist Church.\ \ Survivors include daughters Ginger Sims (Lyle), Becki Abercrombie (Arthur) and Debby Stigall (John); sister-in-law Myrtle Powell; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.\ \ Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39213 or Crosses Across America at 3300 Indiana Ave. Suite C, Vicksburg, MS 39180.
