Erbie Allday, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away in Terry, MS, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. Born 1 of 10 children in Eupora, MS to Johnny Allday and Oma Oswalt Allday, Erbie led a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Erbie followed in his family's footsteps to become a second-generation Electrical Lineman and proudly served as a member of the Local 605. His commitment to his work took him all over the country, where he displayed his skills and passion for his craft.
Outside of work, Erbie was known for his warm personality and kind heart. He called Terry his home for the last 40 years and found true happiness in the company of his loving wife of 67 years, Juanita Smith Allday. Their bond was a true testament to enduring love and partnership.
In addition to his devoted wife, Erbie is survived by his son, Devon Allday (Susan) of Montpelier, MS; daughter, Lisa Ainsworth (Tommy Sessums) of Terry, MS; 3 grandchildren: Christopher Allday, David Ainsworth, and Ashley Hare (Sonny); 3 great grandchildren, Brooklyn Allday, Priya Hare, and Anaya Hare.
Erbie also honorably served in the United States Air Force, demonstrating his patriotism and dedication to his country.
