Ernest Lee. Bailey,73 , of Learned, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2009. Visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Memorial Services will be 11am Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Hinds Independent Methodist Church in Raymond.\ \ He was born October 27, 1935 to the late Cloyd E. Bailey and Bertha Bailey. Ernest lived his youngest years in Raymond, MS. His family moved to Arizona for awhile, where he met and married Janell Stansberry. They were blessed with 3 sons. Ernest was employed by John Deere in Bolton, MS and is best known to all in the community for his mechanic abilities and his saw mill.\ \ Ernest was preceded in death by his father, Cloyd. He is survived by his mother, Bertha, of Learned, MS; sister, Jean Rottman of Carlsbad, California; brother, Bobbie (Margrete) of Learned, MS; sons, Jimmy of Phoenix, AZ, Eddie (Rita) of Amery, WI, and Danny (Shawna) of Christoval, TX; grandchildren, Dale (Becky), Kate (Randy), David, Branda and Devon; great granddaughters, Adalin & Greta Rose.\ \ The family wishes to thank all who were an important part of his life; and the love, care and support received during this time.\
