Ernest Elvin Faubion, 98, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Terry on Saturday, April 29, from 10:00am until the 11:00 funeral service. Interment will follow at the Terry Cemetery. Mr. Faubion was born in Lebam, Washington on December 12, 1918, to Louis Faubion and Effie Schollp. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the First Baptist Church in Terry, MS. He married his first wife after only 10 days from meeting and was married for 53 years until her death. Mr. Faubion was an avid MSU Fan and was on a bowling team for 20 plus years. He retired from the Army after 22 years, and then served 20 more years in the Mississippi Air National Guard until May of 1984. He met his second wife, Margaret, through playing bridge for many years and married her in 1997. They would spend many nights @ the American Legion playing bingo and dancing until early hours of the morning. He is preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Effie Faubion; wife, Clayton Mahaffey Faubion; son, Windell L. Faubion; sister, Ella V. Waine; daughter-in-law, Wanda Stringer Faubion; and granddaughter, Tammy Faubion Johnson. He is survived by his 2nd wife, Margaret Earl Wade; son, Rodney (Joette) Faubion of Papillion, NE; daughter-in-law, Linda (Gordon) Stokes of Brandon MS; stepson Ray (Linda) Jones of TX; stepdaughters Pat (Richard) Werne of Jackson, MS; Laura (Darin) Bridges of Clinton, MS; niece, Clara Konkler and nephew, Bud Waine, both of Washington State; three granddaughters Cindy (Steve) Bierman; Lara (Brian) Schnick; Elizabeth (Dominic) Castiglione; seven great-grandchildren Madison, Lauren, and Michael Bierman; Catarina, Brianna and Nicolas Castigilone; and Emily Johnson. Also, 17 step-grandchildren and 18 step great-grandchildren.
