Ernest Ray Fortune, Jr.,53 , passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at his home in Jackson. Visitation will be 5:00pm until the 6:00pm memorial service Thursday, June 28, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. \ \ Mr. Fortune was a native of Jackson where he has worked many jobs over the years always excelling at them all. He loved playing music, reading his Bible and was a man who loved his family very much. He was a very compassionate person who would have given anyone the shirt off his back.\ \ He is preceded in death by his mother Joyce Ann Jenkins Fortune and father Ernest Ray Fortune, Sr.; brothers Edward E. Jenkins, Rickey Lynn Jenkins and Alan Lee (Buddy) Fortune.\ \ Survivors include his daughter Naomi Ann Fortune of Flowood; brother Larry Lee Jenkins of Memphis, TN and sister Patricia "Pat" Ann Jenkins of Hattiesburg.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com. \
