Mrs. Estelle McCrory Tait

Estelle McCrory Tait, 81, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Briarhill Nursing Home in Florence. Visitation is today, October 13, from 4-8 pm and Monday, October 14, from 9 until the 10 am funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Brandon. Estelle was born on December 29, 1932, a daughter of the late Homer and Evie Mae McCrory. She was a native of Morton, MS. Estelle was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Tait and siblings, Merle Holifield, Mamie Knight and Laverne McCrory. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children, Ray Yount, Lester (Janet) Yount, Theresa Frickey, Phillip (Daphne) Tait, Paula Tait and Angel Tait; Siblings, Buddy McCrory, Billy Rand McCrory and Roy McCrory; Grandchildren raised as her own, Dianna (Britton) Johnson and Mikey (Stephanie) McGowan; 20 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
