Eva G. Ainsworth, 78, departed this earth on Oct. 25, 2008 to be with her Lord. Mrs. Ainsworth suffered an illness at St. Dominic's hospital in Jackson.\ \ Visitation will be 4 until 7 P.M. Monday and from 10 until the 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram Chapel. Burial will be in Lakewood South.\ \ A native of Copiah County, Mrs. Ainsworth had lived in the Jackson and Byram area for 58 years. She retired from General Electric after 33 years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Byram. \ \ She is preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Gertrude Guess, sister, Evelyn King, and grandson, Eric Seeley.\ \ She is survived by her husband of 50 years Max T. Ainsworth; two daughters Margaret (Les) Easterling of Copiah County and Tommie (Guy) Wyman of Byram; her Brother Eugene Guess of Copiah County, her sister, Lorene Boone of Lawrence County, six grandsons, two granddaughters, five great granddaughters, four great grandsons, and a number of nieces and nephews…\ \ Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Byram Organ Fund.\ \
