Eva Norton

Eva Lou Norton, 75, died Monday, November 8, 2010 at Baptist Hospital. Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 5-8pm and Friday, November 12 from 9 until the 10am service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will be at Wesleyanna Cemetery in Florence.\ The daughter of William and Myrtle Quimby, Mrs. Norton, a resident of Star for 43 years retired from Sloan Paper Co. as a secretary and sales representative. \ She is preceded in death by her grandson, Richard Boggs and her step-grandson, Ricky Rone. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, C. G. Norton of Star; son, Richard (Susan) Norton of Richland; daughters, Dianne (Charles) Roan of Star, Mary Norton of Star, Becky (Lee) Boggs of Star; brothers, Robert Quimby of Vicksburg, Bill Quimby of Yazoo City, Oscar Quimby of Star; sister, Cora Loflin of Jackson; grandchildren, Casey McCaffrey, Jennifer Knight, Samantha Elward; step-grandchildren, David Rone and Ken Rone; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Rone, Daisy Norton, Lilly Elward, Brendan McCaffrey; and close extended family, Sherry and Kali Evans.\
