Mrs. Eva Dianne Rone

Mrs. Eva Dianne Rone, 61, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at MS Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Thursday, February 6th from 5- 8 PM and Friday, February 7th from 9AM until the 10 AM funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Tabernacle Church in Ethel, MS. Mrs. Rone, born September 15, 1952, was a life long resident of Rankin County. She spent many years working as a cafeteria cashier at McLaurin High School. Mrs. Rone is survived by her husband, Charles Rone of Star; father, C.G. Norton of Star; sons, David (Angie) Rone of Brandon and Ken Rone of Norfolk, VA; brother, Richard Norton of Richland; sisters, Mary Norton and Becky Boggs, both of Star; one step granddaughter, Charlotte Strahan; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Tabernacle Church Cemetery Fund in Ethel, MS.
