\ \ \ Lottie Land Farrar, 84, died Saturday, January 31, 2009, at Care Center of Clinton. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 3 in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson. Chancellor Funeral Home of Byram is in charge of arrangements.\ Mrs. Farrar was a native of Montgomery County and a resident of Clinton for 47 years. She was an extraordinary homemaker and mother and was active in her church and community. She worked in banking for more than 25 years starting as a teller and retiring as an officer. Upon her retirement she worked for the Clinton Public School System. She was devoted to her family and shared a love for horses with her husband.\ She was preceded in death by her husband, Omah P. Farrar, and is survived by daughter, Landa Strum and her husband, Bill; son, Pitt Farrar and his wife, Nancy, all of Clinton; grandchildren, Farrar Strum and wife, Lisa of Baltimore, MD; Dean Farrar and wife, April of Madison; Landa Gayle Strum of Clinton; Clint Farrar and his wife, Katy of Madison; Nancy Leigh Strum of Clinton; five great-grandchildren, Lily Kate and Price Farrar; Madyson Strum; Anderson and Baker Farrar; and brother, Arthur L. "Pug" Land of Durant.\ In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. \ \
