Helen Fay Richburg, 74, of Raymond, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Hospice Ministries from complications of a stroke. Fay enjoyed swimming at the Baptist Healthplex and power walking. She was actively involved with her grandchildren and great grandchildren by attending their many sporting events, playing baseball and soccer with them, and showing them how to shoot the BB gun at "the river." Fay also had a way of making every member of the family feel like each was her favorite. We will all miss Mamaw's spoiling very much!\ \ She also served as a hostess for the American Association of Motor Vehicles Association Convention. She was a member of Siwell Road Church of Christ. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother!\ \ Fay was preceded in death by her parents Obra Ira and Buna Murphy and her brothers Harlan and Herbert.\ \ She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Al Richburg, Sr., daughter Debby Corkern and husband Don, daughter Kathy Richburg, son Al Richburg, Jr., and wife Sharon, and daughter Suzanna Session and husband Norman. Her grandchildren include Donny and Chassity Corkern, Doug and Heather Corkern, Mandi Duncan, Austin Richburg, Anna Richburg, Paxton Session, and Sloan Session. Her great grandchildren include Charlyte Scarf, Joseph Corkern, John Corkern, and Skylar Duncan. She is also survived by her four sisters Dorothy Berry, Bonnie Moran, Mary Walker, and Wanda Cavagnaro. \ \ The family wishes to thank Drs. George Reynolds, Richard Weddle, Grey Waldrop, the nurses and staff of the Passage Program and Baptist Hospital, and Hospice Ministries for the compassion and outstanding care given to our wife and mother. We also want to thank our family, friends, and churches for all their love, support, and prayers during Mom's sudden illness. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, with services beginning at 4:00 on Tuesday, August 19. Graveside services will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport, Mississippi, on Wednesday, August 20 at 11:30. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.\
