Mrs. Faye Deason Shivers

Faye Deason Shivers, 78, passed in peace Friday, November 16, 2018, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 9:00 am until 11:00am at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, followed by a service at 11:00 am in the Chancellor Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Florence City Cemetery. Faye was born in West Point, MS and was a current resident of Florence, where she was a Member of First Baptist Church of Florence. Mrs. Shivers was preceded in death by her husband, John Davey Shivers. Survivors include her children, Diane McCoy Cargile (Donald) and Donna McCoy Cannon (David); grandchildren, Shelby Lee Cannon (Larissa), Meagan Layne Cargile, Austin Hugh Cannon; sisters, Laverne Deason Prouty and Peggy Deason Sheridan; step daughters, Debbie Shivers Ford and Robin Shivers Seitz and their children Casey Ford Ford (deceased), Linay Ford Rogers, Lee Ford Parrish, Shane Trammell and Mandy Trammell Phillips.
