Felix O’Neal Ivy, 76, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, December 29 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Friday, December 30 at First Pentecostal Church of Jackson with a one hour visitation prior to service time at the church. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr. Ivy was born in Starkville, MS. He served the Boy Scouts of America for over 40 years and he enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, was an artist, clown and magician. He worked for Hardy Corp. as sheet metal Superintendant and taught Sunday School for many decades and was involved with the bus ministry at First Pentecostal Church where he was a faithful member. He is preceded in death by his parents Lee Allen Ivy, Sr., and Hazel Beatrice Tanksley Ivy; granddaughter, Vernia and his grandparents. Survivors include his wife Delores Ivy of Terry; son, Michael (Michele) Ivy of Terry; daughter, Amy (Donald) Moore of Laurel and Susan Pritchard of Jackson; brother, Lee Ivy, Jr. of TN; sisters, Bea Smith and Ann (Bob) Collier both of Brandon; eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
