Mrs. Flora McDaniel O'Neal

Flora McDaniel O’Neal, 89, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at her home in Terry. Visitation will be 10am until the 11am memorial service Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Rev. Gary White will officiate. Mrs. O’Neal was born October 24, 1927 in Lowndes County, MS to the late Clyde Alexander McDaniel and Mattie Gandy McDaniel, growing up in Attala County, MS. She was Plant Assigner for Bellsouth for 39 years and a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter Brenda Calder. Survivors include her son Wayne O’Neal and his wife Beverly; granddaughter Tammy Gomez; grandson Andrew Calder and four great grandchildren, Christina, David, Vanessa and Rachael. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. O’Neal’s family would like to invite everyone to visit a family member or someone who may not have visitors on a regular basis. Maybe take a box of candy to add a little cheer to their life as your share their company. When you visit it is requested that you mention Mrs. Flora McDaniel O’Neal, even if they did not know her.
