Frances Cook

Mrs. Frances V. Cook, 77, died at MS Baptist Medical Center Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Visitation will be Friday, October 15, 2010 from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment followed in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Magee.\ \ Mrs. Cook was co-owner of Southern Rubber Stamp Co. The love of her life was the time she spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and fishing. She was a member of Hickory Ridge Baptist Church.\ \ She was preceded in death by her brothers: Kenneth Sasser and Billy Ray Sasser. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Billy D. Cook, Sr.; son, Billy D. Cook, Jr. and wife Becky of Florence; daughter, Marlene Stein of Hammond, LA; sister, Ruby Ferrell and husband, Jimmy of Greenville; and 3 grandchildren: Caleb, Hanna and Kaci; numerous nieces and nephews.\
