Mr. Gabriel "Gabe" E. Martin

Gabriel Eugene Martin, “Gabe”, passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Merit Heath River Oaks in Flowood. He was 21 years of age. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, January 30th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 31st at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one-hour prior, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS. Gabe was born August 14, 2000 in Flowood, MS and lived all of his life in Richland. He attended Richland High School, graduating in 2018 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland. He worked in sales and marketing with Rex-Air and enjoyed video games and basketball. He loved to travel and was planning on proposing to his girlfriend, Emma Jackson in Rome in September. Gabe was welcomed to heaven by his grandparents, Robert & Eleanor Martin and Robert Easley. He is survived by his parents, Robbie & Ginger Martin of Richland; brother, Will Martin of Richland; maternal grandmother, Pat Easley of Pearl; uncle, Jamie Martin of Madison; aunt, Missy (Scooter) Myers of Pearl; and cousins, Allie and Tripp Myers of Pearl. Because Gabe was an organ and tissue donor, he will live on in the lives of those he helped.
