Mr. Garrett Dillard

Christopher Garrett Dillard, 19, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his home. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Lakeshore Church in Byram, with a one hour visitation prior to service time at the church. Interment will follow at Hickory Ridge Cemetery in Florence. Garrett was born and raised in Byram, graduating from Terry High School, where he was involved in ROTC. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and mud riding. Through school, he did small engine repair and currently worked with Yates Construction. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Dillard. Survivors include his parents Tom and Amy Dillard of Byram; maternal grandmother, Barbara Jones of Crystal Springs; brother, Justin (Tracey) Dillard of Brandon; sisters, Amanda Dillard of Tuscumbia, AL, Haley (Bill) Aldeir of Tuscumbia, AL and Makayla Dillard of Byram; eight nieces and two nephews.
