Mr. Gary "Mike" Brock

Mike Brock, 60, of Florence passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Visitation will be 9:30 – 11:00am Friday, November 10, 2017 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Born in Carthage, Mr. Brock had lived most of his life in the Florence area. He worked in elevator construction and was of the Baptist faith. He loved to visit Colorado and working on his farm. He was a very kind man who was a friend to many and a loving husband to his wife, Rose prior to her death. Mr. Brock is preceded in death by his parents, David and Marjorie Perry Brock, brother, Wayne Brock, sister, Beverly Williams and wife, Rose Brock. Survivors include his sons, Shawn Brock and Tyler Brock, both of Jackson; his grandchild, Laney Skye Brock; his brother, David (Susan) Brock, of Brandon and his sister, Jeanie (Bill) Stapleton, of Soddy Daisy, TN. The family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
