Mr. Gary Wayne Mitchell

Gary Wayne Mitchell, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the University of MS Medical Center in Jackson. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, April 9th at 6:00 PM at College Drive Seventh Day Adventist Church in Pearl. Mr. Mitchell was born January 12, 1941 in Crystal Springs, MS to Wilford Wade and and Leila Mae Mitchell. Gary had a great sense of humor and he loved to joke and tease others. He enjoyed hunting a fishing but his love was his children and his grandchildren. Mr. Mitchell is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronnie Wade Mitchell. He is survived by his daughters, Tina (Monte) Heid of OR, Tabitha (Daniel) Stewart of Byram, MS, and Rhonda (Shane) Hathcock of Brandon, MS; sisters, Gail Weeks of Pearl and Gwen Cummins of Brookhaven; 8 grandchildren, Kristyn Smith, Wayne Morgan, Anna Hathcock, Shondra Kimes, Jacob Stewart, Adah Hathcock, Luke Stewart, and Jeremy Jones; and great grandchildren, Gage Kimes, Hayden Kimes, Alayna Kimes, Kolby Kimes, Nolen Smith, Liam Smith, Kaydon Morgan, and Brantley Morgan.
