Gay McMurtray

Gay Speake McMurtray, 79, of Terry, Mississippi, died on January 27, 2009. Visitation will be 5-7pm Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and 10am until the 11am funeral service Thursday, January 29, 2009 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Terry Cemetery.\ \ She was an active member of the Wynndale Presbyterian Church, and loved helping others.\ \ She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, W.O. McMurtray, three children: Jan Burriss, Bill McMurtray, Ken McMurtray, three siblings; Daisy Blackwell, John Speake, Wilda Savell, three grandsons, and seven great grandchildren. \ \ In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Gay's memory.
