Mr. George Edward Robinson

George Edward Robinson, 85, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, March 2, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Saturday, March 3 at First Baptist Church in Terry with visitation one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Mr. Robinson was born in Jackson, MS to the late William G. Robinson and Hazel Estelle Craft Robinson. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. Most of his working career was in the Oil Industry in sales/marketing. He did own his own business Robinson Oil and from 1970-2001 he worked with Erson Inc. Mr. Robinson was a member of First Baptist Church of Terry. Survivors include his loving wife Janice Robinson of Terry; daughters, Tenley Robinson of Tomball, TX, Sydney Ann Robinson of Montgomery, TX, Giga Treat of Conroe, TX, Niki Lowery of Terry and Sheila Jasper of Crystal Springs; brother, John Robinson of Jackson; grandchildren, Zoe Redwine, Emily Jasper, Alayna Parker and Bella Grace Lowery.
