George Wilson

George Wayne Wilson, 40, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Mr. Wilson was a life long residence of Florence where he attended Hickory Ridge Baptist Church. He loved to fish and spend time with his family especially his close friend Earl Delong. Mr. Wilson worked 19 years as a ground man with Johnny Ray’s Tree Service. Johnny was not only his boss, but his best friend. George is preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Gladys Teasley of Florence and Eddie and Janie Wilson of Bay Springs. He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Margaret Wilson of Florence; sisters, Rena Jackson of Louisiana and Janie Matthews of Louisiana; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at a later date to remember George’s life.
