Gerald Gilliand\ \ Gerald passed into the Lord's keeping on Saturday, October 4th at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation is 5-8 today at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with funeral services 10am Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Lakewood South. \ \ We have wonderful memories of Gerald, that include his love of Harley's, his stories and times spent with friends and of him sitting on the front porch with his best friend, Bud, who sang to the Moon. Our hope is all who knew Gerald have similar wonderful memories to carry them through this time. \ \ Gerald leaves his mother, Betty Gilliand, sister, Beverly Gilliand-Parkes and brother-in-law, Bill Parkes with many aunts, uncles and cousins to remember him. Gerald was preceded by his father, Bennie Gilliand. \ \ Gerald's family wishes to thank family members, care-givers, friends and acquaintances that gave Gerald love and friendship through the years. \ \
