Gertrude Richardson

\ Gertrude Virginia Richardson, 95, died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at her home in Terry.\ Visitation will be 5-8pm Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 2pm Sunday at First Baptist Church of Terry with a one hour visitation prior to service at the church. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Richardson was a native of Terry, born September 19, 1915. She had worked in the nursery at First Baptist Church of Terry for 33 years. Mrs. Richardson was a tomato farmer extraordinaire.\ \ She is preceded in death by her parents Dan and Nanny Skipworth; husband William Atley Richardson ;son Billy Richardson and grandson Cole Richardson.\ \ Survivors include her sons Rick (Sheryl) Richardson and Joe (Sarah) Richardson; grandchildren Robyn Smith, David Richardson, Greta Richardson, Karla Lovertich, Joey Richardson, Gaydon Wright, Shannon Richardson and Maggie Richardson; 7 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.\ \ In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cole Richardson Memorial Fund at First Baptist Church of Terry.
