Mrs. Glenda S. (McGowan) Edwards, 69, of Jackson, MS died, Monday, December 29, 2014, in her son’s home, in Richland, MS. Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2015 from 10am until the 11:30am funeral service at Jackson First Assembly of God. Burial will follow at Rosemont Gardens in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Edwards was a Member of Jackson First Assembly of God, Jackson, MS and a member of the CMA, Southern Son Riders Chapter, Florence, MS. She was retired from Preferred Medical Insurance Company, Jackson, MS. She is preceded in death by: parents, (2) brothers and (1) sister. She is survived by: (1) Son, John Scott Edwards, of Richland, MS; (1) Brother, Mr. Major C. McGowan, Jr., of Terry, MS; (4) Sisters: Miss Rebecca R. McGowan, of Jackson, MS, Mrs. Betty Jo Raymond, of Jackson, MS, Mrs. Mary J. Jones, of Pearl, MS and Mrs. Delores F.
