Glenn Stapp

Mr. Glenn H. Stapp, Sr., 60, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at his home in Terry.\ \ Visitation is 4-8pm Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and 12-2pm Tuesday at New Haven Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be at 2pm at the church with burial following at Terry Cemetery.\ \ Born in Jackson, Mr. Stapp had been a resident of Terry for 40 years. He worked with the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years and served on the Terry Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years, being Chief for the last 20 years. Mr. Stapp was an avid hunter and horseman who dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. \ \ He is preceded in death by his father, Allen Houston Stapp and his daughter, Teresa Duncan.\ \ He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Stapp, of Terry; son, Glenn Stapp, Jr. of Terry; daughter, Anita Johnson (Tim) of Lena; mother, Janie Stapp of Jackson; brothers, Donnie Stapp of Winchesterfield, CA, Bill Stapp of Caldwell, TX, and Leslie Stapp of Jackson; sister, Mary Evelyn Hodges of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Perry Johnson, Angie Rushing, Scott Johnson, Erika Brooks, Shane Duncan, Kailyn Duncan and 8 great-grandchildren\ \ Memorials may be made to the Terry Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
